Wastegates - These thirty-four magazine articles with photos are a compilation of editorials made as the 10-year president of the Turbo Motorcycle International Owners Association (TMIOA). These editorials appeared in the association's quarterly newsletter "Turbo News" from Spring 1994 (#18) to the final edition in Fall 2003 (#51). Included are "The Showerhead Principle" - an unscientific examination of the inverse relationship between the height of motel showerheads and the motel's distance from the nearest metropolis, "Twelve Out of Thirteen" - an observation on the results of unleashing turbocharged motorcycles onto an unsuspecting public, "A Look Back" - the history of Turbo News, and "Going Global" - the beginning of the TMIOA website <www.turbomotorcycles.org> that resulted in the end of Turbo News.
